Terms of Service
Last updated: July 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you andLinkBuckets ("LinkBuckets", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of our mobile apps, browser extension, and website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. By using LinkBuckets, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly at support@linkbuckets.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Using LinkBuckets
LinkBuckets lets you save links and organize them into buckets across your devices. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Save, store, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to access, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service, its security, or its infrastructure.
- Use automated means to access the Service in a way that harms or overloads it.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the links, notes, and other content you add to LinkBuckets ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to save and store it.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Free and Premium plans. LinkBuckets offers a free plan with certain limits (such as the number of buckets and links) and a paid Premium plan that raises those limits and unlocks additional features.
- Purchases. Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Managing and canceling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by the app stores and are subject to their refund policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices; any change will apply to future billing periods and, where required, we will give you advance notice.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers — including Supabase (hosting, authentication, and storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), Bugsnag (crash and error reporting), and the Apple App Store and Google Play (payments). Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or the content of external links you save.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by LinkBuckets and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, we reserve all rights in and to the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data will always be available or preserved.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkBuckets and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LinkBuckets from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
LinkBuckets is operated from the Netherlands and makes the Service available to users worldwide. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you keep the protection of those mandatory local laws, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
Consumers in the EU/EEA
Under EU consumer law you may have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Because Premium is delivered immediately, you are asked to agree that the Service starts right away, which means the withdrawal right can expire once access begins. In practice, purchases and refunds for subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
