Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your LinkBucketsaccount and the data associated with it. LinkBuckets is a link-organization tool that lets you save links and arrange them into buckets across your devices.

How to request deletion

From within the app

Open the LinkBuckets app, go to Settings → Delete Account, and confirm. Your account and associated data are removed as described below.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, or prefer to request deletion directly, email us at support@linkbuckets.comfrom the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your request and delete your account.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your account and login credentials (email address and hashed password).
• All content you saved — your links (URLs), titles, notes, tags, and buckets.
• Your app preferences and session data.

What may be retained

After you request deletion, your data is removed within a reasonable period. We may retain a limited amount of information only where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our agreements. Any such data is kept only for as long as necessary and is then deleted. Subscription and transaction records held by the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed by those platforms under their own policies.
